Overview

Dad’s Dinners is a family-centered kitchen brand developed as my senior capstone project at DePaul University. The project began as a personal idea to preserve my dad’s recipes and evolved into a comprehensive brand experience centered around the cookbook Come and Get It! The Family Cookbook. Designed to encourage cooking at home and bring people together through shared meals, the cookbook features 28 family recipes, practical cooking guides, illustrated elements, and “Dad Tips” that make cooking feel approachable while celebrating family traditions and memories. The project extends beyond the cookbook into a cohesive visual identity and physical product experience. The brand system includes a logo, typography, color palette, patterns, custom illustrations, and a branded Chef’s Toolbox utensil kit and packaging designed to bring the experience from the page into the kitchen.
